Overview

Armen Software operates Chrome extensions, mobile applications, and associated websites and services. This policy covers all products and services operated by Armen Software.

The short version: We collect almost nothing. Your data stays on your device.

Data We Collect

Chrome Extensions

Our Chrome extensions operate locally on your device. As a general principle:

  • All user-generated content (screenshots, notes, summaries) is captured and stored locally on your device
  • No user content is transmitted to our servers unless explicitly required for a feature (e.g., AI-powered features that use API calls)
  • No browsing history or page content is collected

Mobile Applications

  • Mobile apps follow the same local-first approach
  • We do not collect or transmit personal data unless required for core functionality

Per-Product Details

Whole Page Screenshot — All screenshots are captured and stored locally using Chrome's Storage API. No screenshot data is ever transmitted to our servers. Permissions used:

  • activeTab — to capture the current tab's visible content
  • storage — to save screenshots and settings locally
  • tabs — to open the editor in a new tab
  • downloads — to save screenshots to your Downloads folder
  • contextMenus — to add right-click capture shortcuts
  • scripting — to inject the scroll-and-stitch helper into the page being captured
  • unlimitedStorage — to hold multi-segment captures of very tall pages

These permissions are used solely for the described functionality. We follow the principle of least privilege.

AI Organizer — Folders, tags, pins and the conversation-title cache are stored locally using Chrome's Storage API. Chat content is never transmitted to our servers: the extension only reads the conversation titles already visible in each platform's own sidebar (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to organize them. The only data the extension ever sends is your Pro license key together with a random device identifier, to our license API at armensoftware.com, to activate and periodically re-validate the license. Permissions used:

  • storage — to save folders, tags, pins and settings locally
  • webRequest — to notice (read-only) when the AI platform's own conversation list updates, so the organizer refreshes instantly; limited to the three AI platforms, nothing is read or recorded
  • tabs — to open a conversation on its own platform from the unified popup
  • alarms — to re-validate the Pro license once per 24 hours

If you purchase AI Organizer Pro, the payment is processed by lava.top. We receive your email address and payment status from lava.top to issue your license key by email; we never see your card details. License records (key, email, expiry, device activations) are kept on our server for as long as your license exists.

Websites

  • We use basic analytics to understand traffic (page views, referral sources)
  • We do not use cookies for tracking
  • We do not sell or share data with third parties

Third-Party Services

  • Chrome Web Store — distributes our browser extensions. Google's privacy policy applies.
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — used by AI-powered features in other Armen Software products. Data sent to the API is processed according to Anthropic's usage policies and is not used for model training. Not used by Whole Page Screenshot.
  • lava.top — processes payments for paid tiers (e.g. AI Organizer Pro). Card data is handled entirely by lava.top and its payment providers; we receive only the buyer's email address and payment status to issue license keys. lava.top's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.

Data Retention

User-generated content in our extensions is stored locally on your device until you delete it or uninstall the extension. We retain no server-side copies of your content. For paid tiers, we retain the license records described above (key, email, expiry, device activations) while the license exists; email us to have them deleted.

Your Rights

You can delete all locally stored data by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension.
